A rollercoaster weekend at Donington Park!

A tough qualifying, a monster recovery, and some close but competitive racing, Donington Park brought plenty of drama and excitement - alongside an impressive P18 to P5 charge in the second race of the weekend.

Donington Park is famed for being a challenging, and sometimes unforgiving circuit for drivers of all levels of ability, and this race weekend certainly brought its fair share of drama and excitement.

Race One

Owing to a tricky qualifying session, Reza started the first race in P10, but quickly began making up places before an unfortunate incident on track further back, brought out the safety car, cutting short his sprint up the order finishing P7 as the chequered flag came out.

Race Two

The second race of the weekend played host to one of the most impressive performances the championship has seen for a long time. Starting P18, Reza charged his way from P18 to P7 in just a single lap, stunning onlookers and making this feat almost look easy, before crossing the finish line in 5th place.

Race Three

Following on from two strong performances earlier in the weekend, due to a unknown power issue during the race Reza was forced to go defensive as he struggled to maintain pace with the front of the pack, crossing the line in P6 but dropping back to P9 after an in race penalty. Whilst not the ending of the weekend we hoped for, we came away with lots of positives to carry with us as we head to Silverstone for the next round, and a very special weekend of racing at the home of the British Grand Prix.
