A Mixed Weekend In Dubai, But The Hard Work Continues!

A challenging weekend in Dubai for rounds 7, 8 & 9 of the UAE F4 Championship, which for the first time this season headed to the Dubai Autodrome for an eventful weekend of racing.

Following a tough qualifying session, which saw running temporarily red flagged due to an incident on track - running quickly got back underway, but unfortunately Reza picked up a track limit penalty which dropped him to P25 for the start of race one.

Determined to claw his way back, he pushed hard and managed to claw his way up to P18, showing he had the pace to go even further in the remaining races.

Race 2 was a highlight of the weekend, following an action packed start - Reza quickly began a charge that took him from P18 to P8, with the pace to go even further. Sadly due to an unavoidable incident he took significant damage to his front wing, with further damage was also done to the suspension which forced him to drop down the order to P25 despite a staunch defence.

Not the result we wanted, but it showed that he had the pace to make up places, so as we headed into the final race, there was a real sense of optimism as it was clear we had a strong car capable of delivering a brilliant result.

In Race 3, following a mega launch from the lights, Reza quickly moved up 6 places, and held the position for a short while before sadly taking an impact to the rear of the car, damaging the suspension once again, forcing an early retirement on Lap 1 of the race.

Despite the challenges that were thrown our way, we still have a lot to be positive about as we return to Abu Dhabi in just a few days time. The car felt really strong, and the team put in a mega effort all weekend to help Reza fight back amid a range of challenging circumstances.

We go again in just a few days time at Yas Marina, where we are hoping for a strong result, building on the progress we made over the past few weekends.
