Reza Seewooruthun and Team Battle to the Podium in 12 Hour iRacing Challenge
Reza Seewooruthun and his team delivered an outstanding performance in the Bathurst 12 Hour iRacing event, securing pole position and fighting at the front before taking a well-earned podium finish.
With Kenzo Craige putting in a superb qualifying lap in wet conditions, the team started from pole. The opening stint saw them maintain the lead on wets before switching to slicks, briefly dropping a place but quickly regaining control. A dominant first half saw them build a 30-second advantage.
Reza completed a solid two-hour stint before handing the car over to Ollie Meadows. As teams executed different strategies and their Mercedes struggled for pace in the dry, they lost a few positions. Reza fought hard to climb from P3 to P2, executing a smart undercut in the pits. The final stints saw the car return to P3, with Kenzo making a late push to close the gap.
“This was an intense but brilliant race,” said Reza. “We showed great pace and teamwork, and while we aimed for the win, securing a podium at Bathurst is still a fantastic result. There’s plenty to take away from this experience, and I can’t wait for the next challenge.”
A big thank you to everyone at Mercedes F1 Esports for making this happen!
